Traits: Mythical and Secret units require 5 Star Remnants per reroll.

Rare, Epic, and Legendary units require 1 Star Remnant per reroll.

Traits are special modifiers that can be applied to a unit to boost their stats. To acquire a trait, you need a Trait Reroll, which can be obtained by visiting the Traits NPC. In addition to a main trait, units can also have sub-traits that offer various enhancements, such as increased damage over time (DOT), more money per enemy defeated, higher income per wave, or minor stat boosts. Sub-trait reroll tokens are obtained in the same way as normal trait reroll tokens but are twice as common, functioning as a separate currency.

Anime Vanguards Traits are modifiers that enhance a unit’s stats, such as Damage, SPA (Special Attack), and Range. Units can come with traits when summoned or obtained from a portal. Traits can also be rerolled using Star Remnants or Reroll Tokens.

Rerolling Traits: To reroll traits, interact with Wis, who is located outside the Evolve area in the lobby. You can teleport there using the Traits and Evolve shortcut. There are two methods for rerolling traits: using Star Remnants or Reroll Tokens.

Star Remnants: Star Remnants can be acquired through various means:

  • Purchasing from the Travelling Merchant Shop.
  • Completing Daily Challenges.
  • Removing Shinies (interact with Lucil in the lobby).
  • Defeating a Star Golem in the latest Infinite Mode.
  • 0.25% chance from summons.

The number of Star Remnants required to reroll a trait depends on the unit’s rarity:

Scholar Units gain experience faster. N/A 50% Experience boost.
Marksman Units attack a lot farther. N/A 30% Range boost.
Fortune Units earn more money or have reduced cost. N/A 20% Increased Gold Earned, 10% Reduced Cost for non-farm units.
Blitz Units attack a lot faster. N/A 20% SPA reduction.
Solar Units receive a great increase in range, slight boost in damage and attack speed. N/A 10% Damage boost, 5% SPA reduction, 20% Range boost.
Deadeye Units have deadly accuracy. N/A 30% Critical Chance, 50% Critical Damage.
Ethereal Units gain a great increase in damage and attack speed, slight range increase. N/A 20% Damage boost, 20% SPA reduction, 5% Range boost.
Sovereign Units stand above all with massive damage boost but limited to one placement. N/A 300% Damage boost, 10% SPA reduction, 5% Range boost, limited to ONE PLACEMENT.
